Yet another fabulous trip in Gladys, just got back, we are tired yet feeling relaxed and recharged. There is something about being so close to nature and the outdoor life, it really does help you to feel more relaxed and leave your troubles behind you, well that certainly works for me.
This trip we were back in Anglesey, the site is literally a few steps away from the beautiful beach at Ligwi. We had an extra-large full services pitch (which means we were hooked up to electricity and water). There were only a couple of other motor homes on our particular field so it was extremely peaceful. I had the delight of seeing about 10 or so rabbits playing with each other on the field which was beautiful to watch.
This time we set off on a Thursday to see if the traffic was better and it definitely was for sure, much better than a Friday.
I always use my pendulum to clear the energy on the route that we are taking, and I also use a couple of other spiritual practices to assist us on our journey and to keep us safe.
Once I have done that, I feel I can relax and feel much more content that all will be well on our journey and that we are protected.
I took my new water filter with me this time which is a zero-water filter (www.zerowater.co.uk) and this worked really well. I just kept filling it up at the tap at the back of the van and I was happy that we were drinking chemical free water.
The weather on this particular trip was not great at all, it was cold some days, windy and we had one day and night of really heavy rain.
My son and grandson joined us over the weekend and then my brother and sister-in-law came for the remaining few days, so we had a wonderful time exploring other parts of Anglesey.
We also did a bike ride on my new electric bike (which I have named Norb) to the beautiful little village of Molfrie and had a delicious lunch there at Anne’s Pantry before cycling back to Gladys.
We had some lovely walks on the beach, some delicious food, both cooked in Gladys and sampled a few different restaurants.
Whilst we do try to eat healthily whilst we are away, following a ketogenic diet is not that easy I find as a bacon sandwich cooked and eaten outdoors is very tempting!1 (bacon is fine on keto, just not bread) and its very tempting to drink wine each evening as after all – we are on holiday. This time I took some kombucha with me as an alternative to a glass of wine 😊
I tend to not follow my normal routine and give my body a break from iodine, borax and other supplements whilst I am away however I will be implementing a detox regime on Monday. I did take all my homemade skincare products with me and my natural homemade sunscreen work well for the days when the sun was out.
I didn’t have much time to read my latest book, The Falsification of History which is very interesting and explains in details certain incidents in history and the fact that the circumstances surrounding those incidents are perhaps not what we thought they were.
We are all living in very difficult and challenging times at the moment and I personally feel that I want to be aware of what is really going on, because then, and only then, is one able to make informed decisions about one’s life, health and well-being.
My goal is to enjoy life for whatever time I have left and help others in the bargain that perhaps do not wish to do the amount of research and reading that I do. I am a seeker of truth and constantly looking for ways to improve my health and that of my family
Most of my life at the moment is spent reading, and researching various topics, mostly cantered around natural health and healing as I am currently studying naturopathy.
I have for over 20 years studied natural health and healing remedies, which is why it was so traumatic for me when I had a horrific hiking accident 6 months ago and ended up in hospital for 2 weeks and having surgery on my leg. I’ve spent the past 6 months recovering and healing from the injury and the trauma of the whole episode.
I was unfortunate enough to have had a metal rod inserted into my leg during the surgery and various screws. I am now toying with the idea of having that removed as I do not wish to have a foreign object in my leg but………………the thought of going through another surgery and stint in hospital fills me with absolute horror and so I intend to focus on some more energetic practices to help my leg and body heal from the trauma and hope that the right decision on what to do will become clear to me.
Next trip is to a beautiful lake in Derbyshire so not too far.
